Beyonce Knowles was born on September 4, 1981. Known as simply Beyonce, the American singer and songwriter rose to fame as the lead singer Destiny's Child. Later, she released a solo album which was a big success that earned her no less than five Grammy Awards in one night ! Destiny's Child was disolved later but Beyonce went on as a solo artist. She is dating Jay-Z and married on April 4, 2008.
