Halle Berry was born on August 14, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio. She came into the spotlight at 17 years old when she won the Miss Teen All-American Pageant. She was also a Miss USA runner-up which helped her become a model. Her breakthrough on the big screen came with her role as a crack addict in Jungle Fever. In 2000, she received box office success in X-Men. She also took part in the James Bond movie Die Another Day. She won an Academy Award, an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She is one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood and also a Revlon spokeswoman.
