Natalie Portman was born on June 9, 1981. She is an Israeli-American actress. Her career began early in the 1990s, in the movie Leon and then was cast as Padme Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. She starred in V for Vendetta ! Next to that, she completed a bachelor's degree in psychology at Harvard ! Portman received a Golden Globe Award (Best Supporting Actress) for her role in Closer.
